Training, Reward & Assistance Program
It’s like cash in your pocket!
Earn up to $125 towards the 2009 camp season. Our purpose is to encourage students to develop habits for spiritual growth (training and reward) and help pay for participation in the camp events (assistance). This money could be redeemed for Camp assistance.
Students MUST earn a MINIMUM of $25 to receive any money and all money earned may ONLY be applied towards First Baptist Church youth camp.
Point System: 10 points= $1
Quiet Time 10 points per day

Students may complete and get credit for any of the opportunities during the set time period. There is no set schedule for turning in points for CD/DVD/MP3 messages, reading or Christian service. Quiet time and memory verse must be completed by the end of each month and can not be carried over to the following month.
It is the responsibility of the students to get points turned in correctly. Parents, please be diligent to check your student’s work when you sign that they have completed work because the flexibility of the program depends upon it.
Description of Opportunities
Quiet Time
This is daily Bible reading using method of choice. If you need a suggestion for a book, ask Pastor Randy or Pastor Doug for suggestions. Use the quiet time point form to verify the date and passage read. Maximum of 300 points per month.
Memory Verse
We have two lists of verses to get you started but any Bible verse or passage that is important to you may be memorized. Verses may be quoted or written out from memory with a parent or leader and recorded on the point form. Maximum of 300 points per month.
CD/DVD/MP3 Messages
We have a collection of messages for you to listen to from various speakers on CD or DVD or MP3. Write out the basic outline of the message using the form provided to verify completion. You may also take notes on Sunday Mornings.
Reading
Books must be chosen from the approved section in the library of the church or by Pastor Doug or Pastor Randy. Use the book report form to get credit
Christian Service
Christian Service is an opportunity to meet the needs of people in our church or in the community. Find a need and get the approval of your small group leader. After you’re done fill out the form and get your youth leaders signature. You may earn points for two service opportunities—but you’re encouraged to do more!
All forms will be available on the N’Focus bulletin board. Turn in all forms by the end of the month or when completed to Pastor Randy or to his box by his office.
If at any time you have any questions regarding the camp scholarship program, please contact Pastor Randy at 989-429-0104
